Course Description

Aggressive behaviour can be stressful for staff and lead to a loss of sense of safety.  

This webinar will provide guidelines for developing policy regarding staff safety relating to aggressive behaviour.  

In addition, practical simple strategies for managing aggressive behaviour, whether face to face or over the phone, will be described.  

Anyone who works with the public or manages other who work with the public will benefit from this session.

Tip sheets and a list of resources will be provided to praticipants in the webinar.

David Cherry

David Cherry is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who has been working for 35 years.

David has run training on staff safety and defusing situations where individuals may be aggressive for staff in health settings all around Australia, including staff in medical clinics, community health centres, nurses and doctors in emergency and for Code Grey teams and other staff in hospitals.
